A Message from Bishop Alan

Dear Friends,

The Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society has been caring for children in our diocese since 1984. Their work has changed and developed to meet the different and diverse needs of the children and schools over time. Their workload has, unfortunately, grown hugely in recent years - there is a growing and complex need for the services bccs provides. The Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society is one of the most important charitable organisations in our diocese, and with the help of the people of the diocese, they can fulfil that need into the future.

In the past legacies have played a crucial role in funding the work of bccs.

bccs is in need of additional income to help them continue to widen the reach of their core work, and to expand their services in other directions, such as the consultations in schools and training for teachers and parents that will dramatically increase the number of children who can be helped.

Leaving a gift in your will to bccs is giving a gift to the children of the Brentwood Diocese. With your help, bccs can ensure that a whole generation of children in Essex and East London can fulfill their academic, personal and spiritual potential, and lead safer and happier lives.

Yours sincerely in Christ,

Bishop Alan SM
