Abseil down the Orbit
This challenge is perfect for thrill seekers and daring fundraisers and we are looking for 35 of them to undertake this exciting challenge for us in our 35th Anniversary Year!
Friday 12th July 2019 from 5pm to 8pm
The ArcelorMittal Orbit is on the former Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.
This is a thrilling 80 metre free-fall abseil from a dedicated platform high on the ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture. The experience will involve abseiling from the platform down to the ground. This is described as a “free-fall” abseil as you will not touch anything once you have moved below the abseil platform until you touch the ground.
In order to secure a place, participants will need to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit and agree to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship before Gift Aid to support the work of bccs.
