At bccs our biggest undertaking is the one-to-one work we do in schools with children. However, this is not right for every child, and we are now in a positon to widen the suite of services we offer. We have devised and developed a new model for the future which offers consultations, training and workshops for teachers and support staff in response to the increasing and complex demand schools and staff are facing.
Catherine Munns, Counsellor & Lead Co-ordinator for Training and Development, joined our team in January and is a qualified Counsellor and has a Post Graduate Diploma from the Tavistock Clinic in children’s mental health. Prior to working at bccs, Catherine worked within the CAMHS Castle Point & Rochford team, both as a Clinician and Team Leader. Catherine’s expertise is in working with schools to promote and facilitate understanding of children’s mental health.
