2021 Virtual Fun Walk

In previous years, we have been pleased to join in with thousands of walkers taking part in The Fun Walk at Barleylands Farm, Billericay on the first Sunday in September.

Last year due to the pandemic, organisers decided to change things slightly in the hope that more families and groups all over Essex and East London would be able to join the walk remotely to support local charities in their time of need.

This year, The Fun Walk Trust organisers with so much uncertainty around mass participation events, have decided to keep the walk 'virtual' and we are hoping lots of people will choose to walk 2k or 5k for us during September and ask for sponsorship to help support children's emotional health.

The Fun Walk Trust is a registered charity and has been organising the walk to help local charities since 2002.

They have recognised that local charities and good causes such as ours are suffering financial loss whilst fundraising events are postponed or cancelled, so we are very grateful that they have decided to go ahead with another Virtual Fun Walk in September.

The BONUS POT is a unique feature of The Fun Walk and is donated by generous local businesses and individuals. This meant that for every £1 raised for us last year, we were given an extra 50p from the Bonus Pot.
