'The Priests' - Charity Classical Concert

Following the success of our Anniversary Charity Concert featuring 'The Priests', we are delighted that they have agreed to return to Brentwood Cathedral to sing for us again.

We will advise of the new date as soon as we have clearer idea of guidelines around mass gatherings. Please check back for more information.

The classical musical trio is made up of three Roman Catholic priests from the Diocese of Down and Connor, Northern Ireland, brothers Fr. Eugene and Fr. Martin O'Hagan and Fr. David Delargy. They have been singing together since they were students at St MacNissi's College, County Antrim in the 1970s.

After signing a deal with Sony BMG in April 2008, 'The Priests' recorded their debut album in Northern Ireland and Rome, with the honour of having been allowed to record in St. Peter's Basilica, The Vatican. In December of the same year, they scooped the Guinness World Record for "Fastest-selling UK debut for a classical act" and their debut album turned platinum in Ireland.

In order to comply with health and safety requirements, all guests will need to be checked in to the cathedral and we would ask that you make sure you print your tickets at home and have them readily to hand on arrival.

We will do our utmost to ensure this process is as timely as possible, but with over 500 guests to check in there may be some unavoidable queuing, so please do bear with us.

There will be no parking available at the Cathedral on the evening of the Concert, other than disabled parking already arranged with us.

There are many public car parks within a short walk of the Cathedral – follow this link to other car parks in Brentwood.

We are hoping to be able to offer additional parking for concert goers and will update this page as this becomes available to us.

Disabled Parking:

There is a limited amount of disabled parking available at the Cathedral which MUST be pre-arranged. All entry into the cathedral car park on the evening will be strictly by permit only.

To book your disabled space, please purchase your tickets via www.eventbrite.com and email Julie or call her on 07912277413; she will need your ticket number in order to allocate a space for you.

There will be a licensed bar available on the evening which will be serving a selection of both alcoholic and soft drinks. It will also be serving teas and coffees.

Before entering the Cathedral for the start of the concert, you will be able to pre-order your interval drinks, so they are ready and waiting for you in the Cathedral Hall at the break. Given that the Cathedral will be full, we would actively encourage you do this in order to avoid the need to queue.

Please note, no food or drinks will be allowed inside the Cathedral.

Please note that there is no allocated seating at the cathedral but guests will be seated as they arrive.

We will be posting updates on our Social Media Channels on the run up to the event. Please follow us at bccs_charity on Twitter and Instagram and bccscharity on Facebook to make sure you receive any last minute information.

The concert itself promises to be a fantastic, flagship event for our special year and we look forward to seeing you there!

We would like to thank our friends at Kilnbridge Construction for agreeing to sponsor this event.
