Run for a Child

In association with Pitsea Running Club we will be hosting our annual 5K Run for a Child on Wednesday 5th September 2018 starting at 7pm.

This is a great fun, family event for all standards of runners. Pitsea Running Club asks that a parent or guardian accompanies all children on the run.

Run route

The start and finish is at the Westley Heights Country Park located at the rear of the Harvester (Crown) Public House, Langdon Hills. Please do not park in The Crown car park; there is plenty of parking in the country park.

The route takes runners out of the Country Park onto Lee Chapel Lane and into the Essex Wildlife Trusts’ Willow Park. A loop round the reserve brings you back to Lee Chapel Lane and then to the finish in the Country Park.

Please note that spikes are not suitable due to a section on tarmac roads.

There are toilets available, but no showers or changing facilities.
