The Gift of Giving
One of the biggest challenges faced by charities is thinking of innovative, fun and interesting ways to reach out to supporters and to encourage them to get involved and to support their cause.
As we celebrate our 35th year at bccs, we would like to invite you to mark this occasion by celebrating with us on your own birthday and making a pledge to help us continue our work.
As your birthday approaches this year, we are inviting you to send us a birthday card, timed to arrive at Childcare House on your birthday - make sure you let us know who you are and if you wish to, include any birthday gift towards our work inside your card.
Feel free to download your own Print-Friendly copy of our Birthday card to use. Simply click here.
In 2019, we would love to receive at least 35 birthday cards from friends and supporters who have turned their birthday into a good deed and donated their special day to bccs, enabling us to continue our important work with children and families.
People often ask us how they can help us in a practical way so to help, we have included some ideas below:
You could take a minute to create a birthday fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving, Just Giving or Facebook. Donations made to your birthday page will ensure we are there for all those children who need us.
You could take a minute to set up an annual birthday Standing Order of £35 (or another amount) by going to the Donate section on our website and looking for Regular Giving.
You could take a minute to send us an e-Birthday card and make your donation via our website or email us for our bank details.
You could take a minute to throw a ‘Bit of a Do' for bccs – a bake off, quiz night, gala ball, pamper day – whatever your ‘Bit of a Do’, you’ll have fun with friends and family whilst raising vital funds for the children we support.
Thank you for getting involved!
