Difficult Conversations

We are aware that there is little in teacher training around how to talk with students who engage staff in difficult conversations for example about suicidal ideation, self-harm, domestic violence, anxiety around coming to school etc.

Teachers often find themselves in the front line with students on a pastoral as well as an academic level and may struggle to know how to respond in an appropriate way.

This 1.5 hour input, available to all school staff, will look at the difficult conversations they have, how to be effective and how to keep students and themselves safe.
