We are delighted to be holding our Diocesan sponsored walks again this year during the summer months in line with our original walks' calendar, and are looking for willing volunteers to walk a route for us.
Should you wish to join with one of these, please email Damian ddillon@bccs.org.uk who will be delighted to hear from you.

Run a 5k or 10k around the rides and rollercoasters inside the fantastic THORPE PARK Resort and be first in line to enjoy everything the Resort has to offer. Following the race, you will be able to make full use of the rides within the park with Theme Park access included in your race entry!

Make your midweek count with an evening run in one of East London’s most loved green spaces. Chase the Sun at Victoria Park on a flat, PB-friendly route that follows smooth park paths through open lawns and tree-lined avenues. This event suits every runner, from first timers to pace chasers, with lively support and a great finish-line buzz.
Expect accurate kilometre markers, enthusiastic marshals at key points, and clear signage from start to finish. Chip timing records every second, and you will celebrate your effort with refreshments, a bespoke medal, and a free race photo.

Join us for a spooky evening of running on Wednesday 29th October 2025 and tackle a 5k or 10k at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as the sun sets and the moon rises. We know 5k or 10k can be scary at the best of times but this night is set to be truly haunting even if you’re not pushing for a personal best! We hope to see you there in your best scary costumes - expect skeletons, ghosts and some novelty outfits too.

Nuclear Fallout is a thrilling challenge designed for those looking for a full-on obstacle adventure.
Participants tackle rugged farmland, woodland, lakes and mud with over 40 natural and man-made obstacles that test endurance, strength, and agility.
Chip-timed and suitable for all fitness levels, racers can walk, crawl or run at their own pace, with the emphasis on personal achievement and fun.
Every finisher receives a medal, making this 6 km course an exciting and rewarding experience for anyone seeking adventure without going ultra-distance.
Double the distance, double the challenge, Nuclear Fallout 12km is an endurance-packed obstacle challenge designed for seasoned and adventurous racers.

Santa in the City is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit!
You choose whether you want to walk or run the 5K distance on 8th, 9th & 10th December 2026. Walkers start at 7:00 pm each night, and runners start at 7:15 pm each night. Registration fee includes 5-piece Santa suit.

Santa in the City 2025 was great fun - there's a lovely festive atmospere with everybody in their Santa suits, surrounded by the glorious sites of the City of London glittering with Christmas lights and decorations.

If you are unsuccessful, we are able to register you for many different marathons through our partnership with Run for Charity - including some held abroad!
